In the six years since the second edition of Strategic Planning for Information Systems, much has changed in the way business is organised and in the importance of IS for competitive strategies. However, the essence of the book remains the same - it is a practical and comprehensive book written in a clear and straightforward by: The book provides an excellent framework for studying IT management in today's world.

It has just the right coverge of the topics for a (post-) graduate level IT management program. While the scope of the topics is excellent, the book lacks in depth - in terms of developing better understanding through cases.4/5(1).
